Turtledoves Bakery
At Turtledoves Bakery, we pride ourselves on producing some of the tastiest gluten-free baked goods around. We’ve converted skeptics and pleasantly surprised many people new to gluten-free foods. In lining up our products against their wheat-based counterparts, we’ve had numbers of customers tell us that our products were chosen over the others. All we can say is we’re thrilled to hear that and we’re achieving what we set out to do which is making products that taste so good, you won’t believe they’re gluten-free.
Our store is a dedicated gluten-free facility and we make everything from breads, cakes and cheesecakes to cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, and squares. Our selection keeps growing and we’ve also steadily increased our selection of savory items including soups, mac & cheese, and lasagna. We are frequently experimenting with new recipes and ideas so will periodically be introducing these to get customer opinions and feedback.

Since we opened in the west end of Burlington [in Aldershot], we have been steadily establishing ourselves as both a destination bakery for people with celiac disease as well as others who require a gluten-free diet and as a local neighbourhood bakery. We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you back soon.
We also wish to extend further thanks to our family, friends, and supporters as well as our many loyal customers who helped make our first year since opening such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Bread schedule
Please check out the breads section of our products page for the current scheduled days that our breads are available as a few may have changed since your last visit to the store. Our burger buns are also available at Chuck's Burger Bar on Locke Street so you can enjoy their delicious burgers on a gluten-free bun.
Notices & Upcoming Events
Don’t forget Mom. This Mother’s Day we will be making chocolate and vanilla cupcakes as well as a limited number of 6" cakes ready-to-go. Please come early this Saturday to get the best selection.
The store will be closed on Tuesday, May 22nd in lieu of the Victoria Day holiday. We will re-open Wednesday, May 23rd at our regularly scheduled times.
We will be attending Vine Dining as a vendor on Sunday, June 24th from 1pm to 5pm at Vineland Estates Winery. This is the premier fundraising event for Hamilton’s Theatre Aquarius and we’re pleased to be invited to attend. We will be sampling a few of our products at this event.
