At Turtledoves Bakery, we pride ourselves on producing some of the tastiest gluten-free baked goods around. We’ve converted skeptics and pleasantly surprised many people new to gluten-free foods. In lining up our products against their wheat-based counterparts, we’ve had numbers of customers tell us that our products were chosen over the others. All we can say is we’re thrilled to hear that and we’re achieving what we set out to do which is making products that taste so good, you won’t believe they’re gluten-free.
Our store is a dedicated gluten-free facility and we make everything from breads, cakes and cheesecakes to cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, and squares. Our selection keeps growing and we’ve also steadily increased our selection of savory items including soups, mac & cheese, and lasagna. We are frequently experimenting with new recipes and ideas so will periodically be introducing these to get customer opinions and feedback.
Since we opened in the west end of Burlington [in Aldershot], we have been steadily establishing ourselves as both a destination bakery for people with celiac disease and others who require a gluten-free diet as well as a local neighbourhood bakery. We thank you all for your continued support and look forward to seeing you back again soon.
We also wish to extend further thanks to our family, friends, and supporters as well as our many loyal customers who helped make our first two years since opening such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you.
Bread schedule and availability
Please check out the breads section of our products page for the current scheduled days that our breads are available as a few have been added to the regular line-up.
Our breads are also available at a few locations in the Hamilton-Burlington area thereby allowing these establishments to offer gluten free options on their menus.
